Editorial Policy & Content Standards

Every prompt, guide, and comparison on Prompt Creator Pro goes through a defined testing and review process before publication. This page explains exactly how we research, test, write, edit, and update our content — and what to do if you find an error.

Our Editorial Mission

Prompt Creator Pro was created to solve a specific problem: most AI prompt advice online is generic, recycled, and never actually tested on a real AI model. We built this site on a single editorial principle — no prompt goes live unless we have verified it produces meaningfully better results than not using it.

That commitment extends to every piece of content we publish. Every comparison article is based on actual side-by-side testing. Every guide is written from direct hands-on experience. Every claim about AI model capabilities is verified against the current model version before publication.

Content Testing Process

Our testing methodology for AI prompts is systematic, not anecdotal. Here is the exact process every prompt in our library goes through:

Step 01
Task Definition
We identify a specific, real-world use case — not a vague category. "Write a cold email" becomes "Write a cold outreach email to a VP of Marketing at a B2B SaaS company after they attended a webinar."
Step 02
Baseline Comparison
We first run the bare minimum prompt — just the task description — to establish a baseline output quality. This is what we're trying to beat.
Step 03
Prompt Development
We build a structured prompt incorporating role assignment, context, constraints, format instructions, and quality standards. We test at least 3 structural variations.
Step 04
Multi-Model Testing
We test every prompt on at least the two most relevant AI models (typically GPT-4o and Claude 3.5 Sonnet). Prompts optimized for a specific model are labeled clearly.
Step 05
Blind Evaluation
We evaluate outputs without seeing which prompt generated them, scoring for accuracy, completeness, format, usability, and whether a real professional could use the output directly.
Step 06
Publication Standard
A prompt is only published if it produces outputs rated 40%+ better than the baseline across our scoring criteria. Marginal improvements do not meet the bar for inclusion.

Authorship & Expertise Standards

Content on Prompt Creator Pro is created by practitioners with direct experience using AI tools professionally. Our contributors include:

We do not publish content from writers who have not personally tested the prompts they describe. Theoretical prompts that have not been run on a live AI model are not published on this site.

Fact-Checking Standards

AI model capabilities, pricing, and features change rapidly. Our fact-checking process for factual claims includes:

What We Verify Before Publishing
Model specifications: Context window sizes, multimodal capabilities, pricing tiers — verified against official documentation at time of publication
Comparative claims: "Model A is better than Model B at X" claims are based on direct testing, not third-party benchmarks alone
Technical accuracy: Prompt engineering techniques (chain-of-thought, few-shot, etc.) are verified against published academic research where applicable
Currency: Publication dates are clearly stated and articles are reviewed when major model updates are released
Source attribution: External claims cite primary sources (academic papers, official documentation, official announcements) rather than other content aggregators

Update & Correction Policy

AI technology moves fast. A prompt that worked well on GPT-4 may need adjustment for GPT-4o. A capability comparison that was accurate in Q1 2025 may be outdated by Q3 2025.

Scheduled Reviews

Every article on Prompt Creator Pro is assigned a review date based on how rapidly its subject matter changes:

When articles are updated, we note the revision date at the top of the page. Substantial revisions include a change summary so returning readers know what changed.

Error Corrections

We correct errors as soon as they are identified, regardless of how minor. When a correction is made:

Independence & Commercial Relationships

Prompt Creator Pro is an independent publication. We have no financial relationship with any AI company whose products we cover or compare. Our editorial content is never influenced by advertising relationships.

How we make money: The site is supported by Google AdSense display advertising. We also may include affiliate links to AI tools or services — these are always disclosed clearly with an "Affiliate link" label near the link. Affiliate relationships do not affect which tools we recommend or how we review them.

What we don't do: We do not accept sponsored prompt inclusions, paid reviews, or undisclosed promotions. If an AI company asks us to write favorably about their product in exchange for payment or access, we decline.

AI-Generated Content Disclosure

In the spirit of full transparency: some content on this site is drafted with AI assistance and then reviewed, edited, tested, and revised by human editors before publication. We believe this is an appropriate use of AI tools for an AI-focused publication.

However, the core editorial judgments — which prompts are good enough to include, which claims are accurate, which comparisons are fair — are always made by humans with direct experience. AI assists our writing process; it does not make our editorial decisions.

Every prompt in our library has been tested on a real AI model by a human editor. No prompt is included solely because an AI described it as effective.
